In the case of this project, MM Parquet Flooring had to address the issue of incorrectly fitted floors and deterioration. They started by removing all the original wood floors, ensuring a clean slate to work with. Any areas that required treatment, such as leveling compound, were addressed to create a smooth and even surface.

To further level out the subfloor and provide a stable base for the new flooring, OSB plywood was glued to the concrete subfloor. OSB plywood is a strong and durable option that helps to prevent any movement or unevenness in the wood flooring

MM Parquet Flooring then installed the engineered wood planks, ensuring a proper and durable fit. The new flooring allowed the client to move back in and enjoy their space once again as they had to move out of there beautiful country cottage in the greater Waterford county of Dungarvan. As this was only an hour away from MM Parquet flooring base, we had no problems of take such a complicated job on for our client.
