Parquet Flooring
MM Parquet and Carpentry was excited to tackle this unique project, knowing that it required a special approach to second fix carpentry work. One of the tasks at hand was the removal of an original plank floor, and refit with an 18mm osb plywood, which was replaced with a breathtaking solid Parquet flooring.
The skilled carpenters at MM Parquet and Carpentry understood the importance of carefully handling the second fix carpentry work. This type of work involves the installation of final additions such as skirting boards, architraves, and other decorative elements that give a polished look to a space.
With meticulous attention to detail, the team ensured that every aspect of the second fix carpentry was executed flawlessly. From measuring and cutting the skirting boards to fitting them neatly against the walls, no detail was overlooked and with the extra high Wells mdf skirting boards really made this job stand out.
Once the second fix carpentry was completed, it was time to remove the original plank floor. This required careful planning and execution to avoid any damage to the underlying structure. The team at MM Parquet and Carpentry employed their expertise to remove the old flooring with precision and care.
Finally, the pièce de résistance was the installation of the stunning Parquet flooring. This type of flooring is known for its timeless elegance and intricate patterns. But MM parquet and carpentry will always go the extra mile to give the client something different.
Located in the beautiful area of Naas, County Kildare, we embarked on this project with careful consideration for all the finer details. During the initial discussions with the client, various options were explored, and it was a delightful moment when the client decided to enhance the Parquet flooring with a solid brass detail around its edges.
The choice of a solid brass detail added a touch of luxury and elegance to the overall design. Brass is a timeless material known for its durability and sophisticated appearance. Its warm tones complemented the natural beauty of the darker toned Parquet flooring, creating a harmonious and visually appealing aesthetic.
MM Parquet and Carpentry took great care in the installation of the solid brass detail, ensuring that it seamlessly blended with the Parquet flooring. Precise measurements were taken, and the brass was expertly cut and fitted to create a seamless transition between the flooring and the edge detail which you can clearly see from the photos below.
The intricate craftsmanship involved in incorporating the solid brass detail required the skill and expertise of the team at MM Parquet and Carpentry. Their meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work ensured that the brass detail was flawlessly integrated into the overall design.
The result was a stunning Parquet flooring that exuded sophistication and style, enhanced by the addition of the solid brass detail. The client was delighted with the outcome, as it exceeded their expectations and added a touch of luxury to their space.
