On this project we worked closely with the client. When we had a full discussion with the client about exactly what they were trying to achieve with their parquet flooring.

To our delight, the client only had one wish when it came to fitting all the parquet flooring in their property. That wish was to have solid plank flooring or parquet flooring throughout all the areas of the property. When it comes to this type of spec that a client wants it makes life for a fitter a lot easier as layouts and designs can be worked out as the parquet flooring is fitted. We came back to the client with a couple of suggestions. They decided on the final layout of parquet flooring which was all bedrooms on the top floor to be done in a parquet flooring herringbone design, with a triple border surround everywhere. Then on the top landing they wanted a mansion mosaic design parquet flooring. On the first floor downstairs all areas of the hallway had to be finished with a herringbone design and a triple border. Then in the main hall they wanted the same as the top landing to match with the mansion with Parquet flooring design.

The only small detail we discussed was to fit a solid walnut inlay between the border and the mansion weave parquet flooring design. All of these solid Parquet flooring designs are suitable for underfloor heating systems. As all of the Parquet flooring blocks come unfinished, they can be sanded and polished to any colour and finish that the client desires. We then discussed colour tones with the client when all the floors had been fully fitted and acclimatised to their surroundings. As there was such a large amount of Parquet flooring fitted, it was difficult for the client to come to a decision on the right colour tone to use on their stunning Parquet flooring. So we took our time and discussed many colour options with the client and in the end they picked this amazing classic oak tone with a satin Matt wax oil finish.

As you can see from the photos on this project the finish and the layout of all the parquet flooring looks stunning. This particular job was absolutely fantastic to do, as the client gave us access to the whole house and MM Parquet Flooring were able to do the job from start to finish without any interruptions from any other trades.
