Chevron Parquet Flooring
Chevron parquet flooring can be supplied in different thicknesses in both solid and engineered parquet. It is a highly effective parquet design, although the pattern is time consuming to install the effect speaks for itself. We can supply and supply and fit all our parquet flooring designs in a variety of different sizes to suit the dimensions of the room. The chevron flooring design is also available with a micro bevel or in a traditional parquet flooring finish.
Chevron parquet flooring is amazing to look at in either of the two finishes, but the micro bevel is the more popular finish. The inverted V pattern when laid in chevron pattern really does stand out when compared to other flooring designs. All sub- floors must be clean, dry, and free of moisture when it comes to bonding all types of parquet flooring. When you are bonding to most substrates or screeded surfaces for your new chevron parquet flooring it is always advisable to apply a good quality of floor primer, as once this is done you will get a much better bond which in turn will soundproof your flooring to a higher degree.
We can supply and fit this in a solid block or in an engineered block in a variety of tones and finishes. As a company that orders directly from manufacturers, we have the advantage of seeing all our parquet flooring and we can evaluate the quality and design of each of our batches of chevron parquet flooring. Therefore, when dealing with such a natural product, we always advise our clients not to pick colours or tones or finishes until they have seen the floors fully fitted.
Doing this will give you the advantage of deciding on whether to go with a dark tone chevron parquet or a light tone chevron parquet depending on the cut of the tree. As this style of parquetry is at the high end when you are fitting it you can really see the quality and the accuracy of each parquet flooring cut. We have fitted many chevron parquet floors for many clients over the years and they look stunning. Chevron is one of the most expensive types of parquet and is classed as a high-end parquet flooring, but the effect is something you will have forever.
